What an awesome rifle, compact, light, (even with the heavy contour barrel), trigger is great right out of the box. This is definitely going to be my 'go to' rifle for them pesky varmints.

The stock is adequate and reasonably solid, I don't feel it is flimsy. It has a nice rubber recoil pad, which will catch on your top if you shoulder it sloppy. I like a short length of pull as I'm average height with a 'chunky' build, this shouldered fine. I find the foreend a bit narrow but manageable for my needs (practical target shooting). It is free floated. I could run a piece of paper the length of the barrel back to the receiver and it didn't catch on anything. Pmags insert easily and drop free. Mag catch is handy for the strong hand, but is a bit far forward for me and there isn't a lot of real estate to hit. Some beveling might help or some kind of extended catch. Trigger is nice, crisp break, single stage. I adjusted the trigger adjustment screw almost all the way out, but would like it slightly lighter even after this. Rail was solid and machined clean. No issues with scope mounts.Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 mounted on low rings doesn't require a cheek riser. Safety is solid, not mushy, and quiet. Bolt was initially rough and snaggy, but this has smoothed out considerably and now runs smooth. Heavy lift (cocking) but light back and return. I have limited experience with Bolt guns, but I really enjoy running this one.

Love it! Light and compact - groups extremely well. Supplied with threaded barrel and picatinny rail. Two issues - first the rail sits quite high so a cheek riser will be necessary even with low rings. Second, the magpul magazine can move slightly in the magwell which can cause the projectile to hit low on the feed ramp. Solution was to use slow controlled pressure when closing the bolt so that the round can ease up the feed ramp. Nit picky stuff.
